About Me.

I didn’t grow up with an interest in photography or videography.

A few years after high school, I found myself working a dead-end job — packing boxes in a windowless warehouse. Some of my coworkers had been there for over 20 years. I can’t say whether they were miserable, but it didn’t seem like this was the life they had envisioned. I knew I had to make a change before that warehouse started to feel like home.

I started learning music production, hoping to become a full-time producer. I’d work all day at the warehouse, then come home and spend hours creating music. Eventually, I found enough success to quit my job and pursue music full-time.

At the time, making YouTube cover songs was becoming popular. So I went to a pawn shop and picked up a used Canon T3i to film my performances and shoot photos for the album covers on Spotify and iTunes.

But the more I used my camera, the more obvious it became — I was having way more fun making videos and taking photos than I was making music.

Looking back, maybe there was a small hint from my childhood that this was in me all along. When I was a kid, my family had one of those big VHS camcorders. I’d build cars out of Legos, set the camera at the bottom of the stairs, and launch the cars down — just so I could rewatch the crash in slow motion. I didn’t realize it then, but I was already chasing moments, framing shots, and falling in love with storytelling.

Funny enough, if I had never pursued music, I probably never would’ve discovered my passion for filmmaking.

And now, years later, I get to use that passion to tell stories that actually matter — honest, heartfelt, one-of-a-kind stories that couples will cherish for the rest of their lives.
